We are extending Building Crafts College campus
We are delighted to be working with Building Crafts College on the expansion of its Stratford campus.
Building Crafts College is the UK's leading construction crafts training provider.
The project will transform an existing workshop area, creating additional practical teaching space for site carpentry, joinery and stonemasonry students, helping the College increase capacity and support growing demand for specialist construction skills training.
Scheduled to complete in time for the new academic year in September, the scheme has been designed around a lightweight timber infill solution, avoiding alterations to the existing substructure while enabling a fast and efficient construction programme.
Exposed timber soffits will showcase the building's materiality and craftsmanship. The project also incorporates enhanced passive environmental measures, including increased natural ventilation and solar-control film to reduce heat gain, alongside cooling systems to maintain comfortable learning environments during peak temperatures.
