Travelling Pavilion wins 2026 CESUGA Innovation Award
The awards recognise outstanding projects that showcase wood as the primary construction material promoting innovation and sustainability.
Our Travelling Pavilion, developed in collaboration with Club Madera and Cesefor, has been awarded the Cadwork Innovation Award at the 2026 CESUGA Timber Architecture Awards (Centro de Estudios Superiores Universitarios de Galicia).
Promoted by Juntos por los Bosques, the Forests and Climate Change Forum, and the Madrid City Council to mark the International Day of Forests 2026, the project was made possible through materials donated by more than 15 companies from across the sector.
The CESUGA Timber Architecture Awards recognize each year’s most outstanding projects that use timber as their primary construction material, fostering a more innovative, sustainable, and efficient approach to architecture. The awards are supported by partners such as PEFC and Cadwork, sponsor of the Innovation category.
This recognition highlights the potential of timber as a construction material and celebrates the collaborative effort of all the organisations and companies that contributed to bringing this project to life.
