Pavilion of the Moment in Istanbul
Our Pavilion of the Moment, designed for the Global Design Forum Istanbul, has opened to the public.
The temporary structure sits next to the Turkish capital's oldest church, Hagia Irene, in the grounds of the Ottoman-era Topkapı Palace.
Conceived under the curatorial theme Praise of Transience, the lightweight, demountable pavilion operates as both a public spatial experience and a full-scale demonstrator for a broader research agenda concerned with circularity, adaptability, local material use, craft and regenerative architectural practice.
