WTA's Kirsten, Alastair and Raimondo are in Innsbruck attending the 29th International Timber Construction Forum.

Kirsten was invited by the European Wood Policy Platform (WoodPoP) to speak at the Health and WellBeing conference. She debated the importance of timber in design, and how wood can support human flourishing. The Woodpop event demonstrated how connection with nature and biobased materials can reduce stress levels and have a positive impact on health and wellbeing, not only in health and education settings but across all building typologies.

In an era defined by man-made complexity, reconnecting our buildings and ourselves with nature is not a luxury but an essential foundation for resilient, livable cities—and timber stands at the heart of that transformation.
