WTA in Ireland
Kirsten was at the Build with Wood conference at Avondale.
WTA Associate Director Kirsten had a great time in Ireland last week as part of the Build with Wood - Policy in Practice event hosted by Coillte and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
She spoke about the urgency for systemic change in architecture and construction. The publication of the Irish Timber in Construction Working Groups recommendations, which WT contributed to, is an opportunity to drive forward change and build a sustainable future.
Over 200 national and international experts from the timber and construction industries, the scientific community, and Government departments were in attendance to discuss and promote increasing the use of wood in construction. The promotional video can be seen here.
