Fresh Thinking for Housing Londoners
Andrew Waugh will be taking the Pecha Kucha challenge to present Waugh Thistleton's New Ideas for Housing submission 'Grow London!' on the 7th of December 2015.
This free NLA PechaKucha will hear from innovative organisations working in London who will present fresh thinking around the delivery of homes for Londoners in an exciting evening of quick-fire presentations.
The event comes as part of the New Ideas for Housing programme of events supporting the NLA exhibition which opened in October.
New Ideas for Housing, NLA's major Autumn 2015 exhibition, uncovers 100 new innovative ideas to solve the housing crisis, the result of a major NLA International Ideas Competition organised in collaboration with the Mayor of London. The exhibition presents a selection of both practical and more radical ideas: from increasing self-building and co-housing, to building over infrastructure assets, infilling council estates, and densifying the suburbs. It also displays a Showcase of some of the most exemplary new, or proposed, housing developments in London.
