6 Orsman road launched by Storey
Today British Land's Storey launches their latest building, 6 Orsman Road. Our most recently completed office on the bank of the Regent's Canal.
Storey provides an alternative to traditional leases for businesses that need their own private space with built-in flexibility. Having no internal load bearing walls and minimal columns the spaces, 6 Orsman can be configured to suit user requirements. A truly flexible space, and a perfect match to the Storey offer.
We have been working with Storey to create a space which embodies the sustainability principles at the core of the base build. The result is an honest interior designed to avoid unnecessary materials. The CLT is left exposed and, where finishes were required, natural product such as clay plaster and linoleum tiles have been used. Offcuts from the CLT structure have even been repurposed as furniture.
Occupiers of 6 Orsman Road will be able to enjoy a range of onsite amenities, including private and shared rooftop terraces with panoramic views over London, generous cycling and shower facilities and an in house cafe run by the Shoreditch Trust's social enterprise training restaurant Waterhouse, which will serve a range of local and ethically sourced healthy food.
